I have written since I remember knowing how to write. I started with journals and then they turned into poems. Then one day, characters came to live in rent-free in my head, and they wouldn’t go away. My most infamous and favorite character is December Days. December will have her day (no pun intended.. LOL!) with the world soon. In the very near future, Waylor Walker and Avery White will make their debut. I took longer than expected to finish my first novel. I’m praying and hoping the rest of my characters and stories develop easier and faster.

I absolutely love reading. My genes are interracial romance, paranormal romance, historical fiction, and women’s fiction. I crave alpha men and equally strong women in stories.

Zora Neale Hurston is my absolute favorite author of all time. I fell in love with her after reading her autobiography, “Dust Tracks on The Road.” I have read the great Terry McMillan, the late great Eric Jerome Dickey, Zane, and Langston Hughes. My newest love affair are with Shantel Davis, Theordora Taylor, Tiffany Patterson and S London. These young ladies are brilliant and inspire me to write more.
